Over the past 19 years, over $20,000 has been donated to Hunter Charities by the Newcastle Wedding Industry Professionals.

From 2007, the Newcastle Wedding Industry Professionals charity of choice was Hunter Medical Research Institute (HMRI).

Part proceeds from gate takings at a NWIP Bridal Expo are donated to HMRI.
